WHO IS RODRI OVIDE?

Rodri Ovide Winner
World Championship 2008
Rodriovide
From a very young age, I started playing padel in Argentina, competing as a padel professional player during twelve seasons.

Rodri Ovide started in the world of padel at a very young age. After 12 seasons as a professional player of this sport, since 2008 he has dedicated himself to being on the other side of the glass; he is the coach of two of the most outstanding couples of the moment. Rodri spent over a decade competing on the professional circuit, achieving the #1 ranking in Argentina in 2003 and winning 18 titles throughout his career.

After retiring from competition, Rodri transitioned into coaching and quickly became one of the most respected figures in the world of padel. He has worked with many of the sport’s top players, including Gemma Triay, whom he guided to multiple world #1 rankings. His coaching philosophy goes beyond tactics and technique. He focuses on the mental and emotional aspects of performance, helping players find balance, motivation, and resilience on and off the court.

In 2021, Rodri’s expertise and innovative training methods earned him recognition as Best Coach of the Year at the PadelSpain World Padel Awards

To share his knowledge with a wider audience, he created the Metodología Rodri Ovide, an educational program that offers structured online training for players and coaches worldwide.

In 2025, Rodri brought his passion to Southeast Asia by launching the Rodri Ovide Academy Bali , a premium training facility combining padel coaching with fitness, recovery, and holistic wellbeing. His goal is to inspire a new generation of players while cultivating a global community united by the love of padel.
